I own a web development company, and we do a lot of e-commerce solutions with PayPal's Website Payments Pro.
We have a new client that currently uses ROAM Pay to swipe cards from their Android smart phones, and the funds are going into Authorize.net.  I like what I see with Mobile Merchant Pro, in part because it's compatible with PayPal Website Payments Pro. 

But do you offer -- or does a third party offer -- a dongle that will allow my client to swipe cards into Mobile Merchant Pro without the need to key in the numbers?

Unfortunately no swipe is available at this time.  Bluetooth swipe capabilities would require that the gateway to read the track data (neither authorize.net nor web payments pro have this ability).  Furthermore, Web Payments Pro doesn't have a discount available for swipe charges as far as I know.  In short, adding swipe would be more convenience than any money saving add-on.

With that said, we are looking at adding another gateway product and we may evaluate direct connection swipe devices at that time.
